Can Shack
The public can donate cans/bottles at our shack in the Fareway parking lot at 200 SE Laurel St in Waukee. We take responsibility for sorting the cans and turning them in for redemption. Money from redemption is split between the band parent organization and the students sorting cans.
Quilt Raffle
Every year, we have a custom quilt made with the previous 3 years’ show shirts to raffle off. A truly unique and one-of-a-kind keepsake! This year’s quilt is in progress! The final quilt is expected to be approximately 65” x 65”.
For every ticket purchased, your name will be entered into the drawing held at the WHS band concert on February 10, 2025. You need not be present to win, but the quilt must be picked up in Waukee.
Website credit card sales have ended, but tickets will be available at the concert at WHS on Monday, February 10. They are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20.
Mattress Sale
One of the most unique fundraisers around! We partner with CFS to transform Waukee High School Commons into a mattress showroom for a one day sale. CFS carries name brand mattresses plus accessories like adjustable bases, sheets, pillows, and more. Delivery and financing are available so you can sleep better and support the band! Details will be announced this winter.

Restaurant Events
Local restaurants partner with school groups to raise funds by hosting special dining events. A portion of the proceeds from a given night’s sales are donated to the Waukee Band Parents Organization to fund various activities related to the band program.

Tax-deductible contributions to the Waukee Band Parents Organization from family, friends, alumni, businesses, and the entire Waukee community directly impact the lives of 5th - 12th grade students involved in the band program. Your generosity support instrument purchases, clinicians, uniforms, marching band show expenses, travel opportunities, and other essential resources that ensure our students have the best possible experience.
